Sauerkraut Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1/2 c. water
    2 eggs
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. sauerkraut, drained and snipped
    8 oz. whole cranberry sauce
    3/4 c. chili sauce (Nance's)
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Form meatballs (approximately 40), using the first 4 ingredients.
    Next, mix together the sauerkraut, cranberry sauce, chili sauce, water and brown sugar.
    Pour 1/2 of the sauerkraut mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan, then a layer of meatballs, then the remainder of the sauerkraut mixture.
    Bake, covered, for 20 minutes at 325\u00b0, then uncovered for 15 minutes.
