Frozen Fruit Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large bananas
    2 c. orange juice
    1 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    10 cherries, cut up or strawberries
Preparation
    About 8 hours before serving, mash bananas until smooth in a large bowl.
    Stir in remaining ingredients until well combined. Pour mixture into a 9 x 9-inch flat pan or dish, not metal. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until partially frozen, about 2 hours.
    Spoon mixture into a large chilled bowl. With mixer at medium speed, beat until smooth but still frozen. Return mixture to pan. Cover and freeze until firm.
