Raised Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 pkg. dry yeast
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. melted shortening
4 c. flour
1 c. warm water
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. warm water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Dissolve yeast in 1 cup water.
Mix all remaining ingredients. Let rise.
Poke down and cut out.
Let rise again.
Fry.
Eat warm with warm pure maple syrup.
