Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    4 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 lb. ground meat
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. chili sauce
    1 c. hot water
    3 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Brown the onion, green pepper and ground meat in the bacon fat.
    Add the corn meal to 4 cups boiling salt water; cook in double boiler for 30 minutes.
    Cool.
    Simmer for about 10 minutes. Put half mush in buttered dish.
    Add meat.
    Cover with remaining mush.
    Bake for 30 minutes in a 305\u00b0 oven.
