Chicken Tetrazzini - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/4 lb. fresh sliced mushrooms or 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
2 c. diced, cooked chicken
1 pt. heavy cream or half and half
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 lb. spaghetti, cooked
6 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet; add mushrooms and saute 3 minutes. Add chicken, cream, salt and pepper.
Heat to almost boiling.
In a small bowl, make a smooth paste from flour and 2 tablespoons butter.
Stir into the chicken mixture and stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Spread spaghetti on bottom of buttered 8-inch square pan.
Layer the Mozzarella cheese over the chicken, working the first layer of slices down into the chicken mixture a little.
Top with remaining Mozzarella cheese slices.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on last. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
