Cabbage Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 heads cabbage
    8 green peppers
    8 large carrots
    12 onions
    1/2 c. salt
    6 c. sugar
    2 pt. vinegar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. white mustard seed
Preparation
    Grind vegetables and mix with salt.
    Let stand 2 hours, then drain.
    Blend sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Mix with ground vegetables.
    Store in refrigerator or fill sterilized jars and seal.
