Very Tasty Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    4 slices bacon with drippings
    1 onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut cabbage in quarters; set aside.
    Fry bacon and remove from skillet.
    Add onion to bacon fat.
    Saut until tender; add cabbage, bacon, salt and pepper.
    Cover; let smother until done.
