Cranberry Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mandarin orange segments
    1 large can crushed pineapple (reserve liquid)
    1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 apples, grated
    1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Drain pineapple.
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add pineapple juice.
    Cool, then add fruit and nuts.
    Chill until firm.
