Layered Vegetable Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. sliced potatoes
    1 c. sliced celery
    3/4 c. raw brown rice
    1 c. sliced onion
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    3 c. canned tomatoes with juice
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place layers as listed into 2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover with tight fitting lid or foil.
    Bake 2 hours.
    Let cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
