Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 to 1 1/2 c. pecans, broken into pieces
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter or oleo; add syrup and salt; beat well. Beat in eggs, one at a time; add pecans.
    Pour into 9-inch pastry-lined pie pan.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) 1 hour until filling is set or knife inserted in center comes out clean.
