Chicken A L'Orange - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. chili powder
1 (1 1/2 to 2 lb.) broiler-fryer, cut up
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. shredded orange peel
1 c. orange juice
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 orange, sectioned
Preparation

About 1 hour before serving:
In a pie plate, combine flour with chili powder; use to coat chicken.
In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot butter or margarine, cook chicken until browned on all sides.
Stir in remaining flour mixture, orange peel, orange juice, sugar and salt.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes until chicken is tender.
Add orange sections and heat.
Makes 2 servings.
