Hot 'N' Spicy Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. bulk hot Italian sausage
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
Preparation
    Cook sausage, onion, green pepper and garlic in a large saucepan until sausage is brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, oregano, basil, black pepper and red pepper into saucepan.
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover. Simmer for 30 minutes.
    Uncover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes more or until sauce is desired consistency, stirring occasionally. Serve over cooked and well-drained pasta.
