Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
2 egg whites (room temperature)
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar and flour.
Add milk and egg yolks.
Cook over medium heat until thick.
Add butter and vanilla.
Pour into pie shell.
