Chicken And Broccoli Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    dash of pepper
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked and drained
    4 chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Melt margarine and saute onion in margarine.
    Remove from heat. Add salt, flour, curry powder and pepper.
    Drain mushrooms (reserve liquid).
    To liquid add water to make 1/2 cup.
    Gradually add to flour mixture.
    Blend in milk until smooth.
    Add mushrooms.
    Stir over medium heat until sauce thickens.
    Arrange broccoli and chicken in a 13 x 9-inch (2-quart) pan or dish.
    Pour sauce over. Put cheese on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until bubbly (about 20 minutes). Cool slightly.
    Makes 6 servings.
