Nonnie'S Meringues - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, beaten until stiff
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 pkg. mint chocolate chips
    green food coloring
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Blend egg whites, sugar and lemon juice together.
    Add food coloring until it is a \"minty\" green.
    Add mint chocolate chips; stir well.
    \"Dab\" on foil covered cookie sheet. Put in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Shut off oven and leave for 6 hours.
    Do not open oven.
    Makes many, and they will keep well in airtight tins. All kids love these!
