Spritz Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
food coloring
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
Blend in remaining ingredients, except food color.
Add 1 to 2 drops of food color to dough.
Using approximately 1/4 of dough, put in cookie press. Chill remainder.
Press shapes onto cookie sheets.
Bake 6 to 9 minutes at 350\u00b0 until set, but not brown.
