Sweet And Sour Party Meatballs And Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or pork
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
    1 c. minced onion
    1 tsp. minced fresh or preserved (pdr) ginger
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. packaged bread crumbs
    flour or cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, chestnuts, onion, ginger, soy sauce, egg and bread crumbs in a large bowl; mix well.
    Shape into 36 balls. Roll in flour or cornstarch to coat lightly, shaking off excess. Brown in oil in a large skillet.
    Remove balls as they brown to a roasting pan; cover loosely with foil.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
    Combine with sweet and sour sauce.
