Ground Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mushroom stems and pieces
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1/3 to 1/2 c. Heinz 57 sauce
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1/2 c. dairy sour cream
    hot, buttered noodles
Preparation
    Drain mushrooms, saving liquid.
    Brown mushrooms, beef and onion in shortening.
    Stir in flour and salt.
    Add mushroom liquid, 57 sauce, parsley and water.
    Combine well.
    Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Serve immediately over noodles.
    Makes about 6 servings.
