Italian Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head of Romaine lettuce
1 bunch watercress
1 red pepper, seeded
1 cucumber, peeled and quartered lengthwise
1 small red onion, finely sliced
1/2 c. clover or bean sprouts
1/2 c. red cabbage, shredded
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
1 c. chick peas (garbanzo beans)
Olive oil, lemon juice dressing with grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation

This is a good basic salad that children love.
Be sure to cut everything up very small.
Place the Romaine in your bowl, then the watercress, chopped vegetables.
Strew the sprouts and garbanzo beans on top.
