Barbecued Pork And Basting Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. boneless pork loin or shoulder, tied for a spit
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Combine all spices.
    Rub into roast.
    Let it stand several hours or place in plastic bag and refrigerate overnight.
    Warm to room temperature before putting on spit.
    Insert a meat thermometer and brown on spit for 20 to 30 minutes.
