Tomato Fideo Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1/4 c. vegetable oil, divided
8 oz. uncooked fideo or angel hair, broken into 1-inch pieces
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
3 c. frozen broccoli florets, thawed and drained
Preparation

Season steak generously with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in wok or large skillet over medium-high heat; cook steak in it about 3 to 4 minutes or until browned and no longer pink, stirring frequently. Remove form pan. Keep warm. Add remaining oil, broken pasta and garlic to pan. Carefully toss pasta in oil to coat; cook until pasta is golden brown, stirring constantly. Stir in tomato sauce until well blended. Cover; reduce heat to low. Cook about 10 minutes or until pasta is tender. Combine steak and broccoli with pasta; toss all together. Cover and cook on low until heated through. Serve. Makes 4 servings.
