Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. corn syrup (light)
1/2 c. butter
4 large eggs
2-1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and salt in bowl.\tCut in 3/4 c. butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Press mixture evenly into greased 13 x 9 inch pan, using a piece of plastic wrap to press firmly in pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 17 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
