Cheddar Cheese Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. paprika
3/4 c. butter
6 oz. sharp American Cheddar cheese, shredded (1 1/2 c.)
1/3 c. water (approximately)
Preparation

Stir dry ingredients.
Cut in 1/2 cup butter.
Add cheese and mix well, then add enough water to hold ingredients together.
Roll out on floured board to 14 x 8-inch rectangle.
Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
Fold corners into center.
Roll out again, dot with 2 tablespoons more butter; fold again.
Wrap in wax paper and chill for about 30 minutes.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick.
With pastry wheel, cut into scalloped strips 1/2 x 4 inches.
Put on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
