Broughton Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 chocolate sq.
4 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla. On low speed, add dry ingredients.
After adding nuts, divide the batter.
Put melted chocolate squares in half on the batter only. Pour plain batter and then chocolate batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Run a knife blade through the batter to give marbleized look.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Let cool.
