Brownies(Indian Heads) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour, sifted
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1/3 to 1/2 c. cocoa (Droslee's)
    7/8 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    1/2 lb. margarine
    4 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa together.
    In a separate bowl, blend sugar and shortening; beat very well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and blend (just until mixed).
    Add vanilla and walnuts; blend just until mixed.
