Pickle Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 heads cabbage
12 onions
12 medium carrots
8 green peppers
8 red peppers
Preparation

Grind in food chopper with medium knife.
Mix 1/2 cup salt through this and let stand 2 hours.
Drain and add 3 pints diluted vinegar, 6 cups sugar, 1 tablespoon celery seed and 1 teaspoon mustard seed.
No cooking.
Pack in sterilized jars.
Seal at once.
