Frosted Apricot Jewels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. margarine (soft)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (soft)
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. apricot preserves
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
    Cut in butter and cheese, pastry blended until coarse meal.
    Add coconut and apricot preserves.
    Mix well.
    Drop dough by heaping teaspoonful 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes (18 minutes) until lightly brown.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Spread frosting and top with pecan halves.
