Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions, sliced
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. chili powder
    2 green peppers, cut fine
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add onions, peppers and butter to the drained ground beef. Saute until tender.
    Add tomatoes, rice and seasonings.
    Cover and bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until done.
