Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 can cream-style corn
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
    Combine remaining ingredients and add to dry mix; stir only until moistened.
    Pour into a greased 9-inch square pan or 10-inch skillet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 or 35 minutes or until golden brown.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
