Strawberry Angel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry or straw/banana gelatin
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. thawed strawberries
    1 tsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 angel food cake
Preparation
    Mix gelatin with boiling water.
    Stir into gelatin mixture the strawberries, sugar and salt.
    Cool until it begins to thicken. Fold into mixture the whipping cream.
    Tear angel food cake into chunks and put in bottom of an 8 x 12-inch glass baking dish. Pour half of strawberry mixture over.
    Makes second layer of chunks.
    Top with remaining strawberry mixture.
    Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours.
