Blueberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. blueberries
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and nutmeg.
    Gradually stir in boiling water.
    Cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils.
    Cook 2 minutes more.
    Add fresh blueberries; return to boiling.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in lemon juice; cool.
    Makes 3 cups.
    Serve over pancakes or ice cream.
    May be doubled.
