Wine Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. wine (sherry or Burgundy)
    3 c. sugar
    1 pouch liquid pectin
Preparation
    In the top of double boiler, mix wine and sugar.
    Place it over boiling water and stir just until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in pectin.
    Skim the foam, if necessary.
    Ladle the jelly through a funnel into hot jars.
    Seal. Process for 10 minutes in hot water bath.
    Makes 4 half-pints.
