Bean Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1 can drained Northern beans (pintos, limas or any bean)
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 c. chopped tomatoes
1 c. grated cheese
1 pkg. Mexican corn bread mix
Preparation

Brown ground beef and drain.
Saute onion and bell pepper and put in bottom of a casserole dish.
Put drained beans on top of beef and layer chopped tomatoes.
Then pour tomato paste and 1/2 can water over top.
Place grated cheese over mixture.
Mix Mexican corn bread by directions on package and spoon on top of mixture.
Cook on 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 oven until brown.
