Golden Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/3 c. chopped green onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling water until fork-tender.
    Drain. Chill, peel and grate.
    Turn into large bowl.
    Melt butter and cheese over low heat.
    Remove from heat.
    Blend in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Mix gently until blended.
    Turn into shallow buttered baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
