Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. dates
    1 lb. orange slices
    1 c. pecans
    1 small coconut
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
    Before removing from angel food pan. Glaze with 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 cup orange juice.
    When cool remove from pan and store as fruit cake.
