Southern Sweet Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
unbaked 10-inch pie shell
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Melt
chocolate
and
butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until blended.\tRemove from heat and blend in evaporated milk gradually.\tMix sugar, cornstarch and salt, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
Blend in the chocolate mixture and pour
into\tpie
shell.
Sprinkle coconut and pecans over filling. Bake
at

for

minutes or until puffed and browned. Garnish with whipped topping.
