Canadian Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
4 c. milk
4 c. chicken broth
dash of salt and paprika
1/2 c. diced carrots
1/2 c. diced celery
1 c. diced American sharp cheese
Preparation

Cook onion in butter until tender.
Blend in flour.
Add everything but cheese.
Cook until thick and bubbles on medium heat.
Reduce heat.
Add cheese, stir until melted.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Serve in small bowls or cups and garnish with popcorn. Serves 8 to 10.
