Black Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    8 to 12 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
    20 oz. can black cherries, pitted and cut in half (reserving juice)
    8 oz. carton frozen whipped topping
    1/2 pkg. mini marshmallows
    chopped pecans and coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Drain off juice of cherries and reserve. Whip the cream cheese, adding cherry juice until all is blended in. Add thawed whipped topping. Fold in cherries and add crushed pineapple. Add marshmallows, nuts and coconut. Chill several hours in a 9 x 13 x 2 pan.
