Deep-Fried Fish And Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. panfish (perch, sunfish, etc.) or 2 lb. fish fillets, thawed if frozen
    cornmeal
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    parsley and lemon wedges
    oil for deep frying
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
Preparation
    Coat fish with cornmeal, reserving excess.
    Fry fish in hot oil (370\u00b0), 2 to 3 minutes or until golden. Drain on paper towels; keep warm.
