Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. syrup
3/4 c. water
4 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. powdered sugar

Preparation

Cook the first 3 ingredients to hard ball stage. Slowly pour over the beaten stiff egg whites.
Beat in the vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat until gloss begins to leave.
Drop on wax paper.
