Mccall'S Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. whole kernel corn (frozen or canned), drained
    2 c. tomato sauce, divided
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    several strips bacon
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan, layer rice, then corn.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Pour on 1 cup tomato sauce mixed with 1/2 cup water.
