Grandma Helen'S Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1/4 lb. uncooked rice
    1 onion
    salt and pepper
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 egg
    1 head cabbage
    1 Tbsp. red paprika
    1 can sauerkraut
Preparation
    Saute chopped onion in a little oil with red paprika.
    Wash rice and drain.
    Mix meat with rice, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Steam cabbage leaves and peel off as they get soft.
    Trim the outer vein for easier rolling.
    Roll a small amount of meat mixture into each cabbage leaf.
    Stack the rolls into a large pot.
    Pour in the sauerkraut and tomato sauce.
    Add 1/2 cup water.
    Bring to boil. Cook 1 hour at low with top on it.
    Stir periodically.
    Garnish each serving with sour cream.
