Drunken Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. smoked sausage
    1 c. brown sugar
    12 oz. hot picante sauce
    1 c. bourbon
Preparation
    Cook sausage according to package directions, then slice. Combine brown sugar, sauce and bourbon in Dutch oven.
    Add sausage.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours, stirring often.
    Place in crock-pot to keep warm.
