Mom'S Southern Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. self-rising flour
    3 c. sweet milk
    3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 or 4 pieces fresh loaf bread, cubed
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Beat eggs well and add to the sugar mixture.
    Blend well.
    Add milk, margarine and vanilla.
    Mix and pour into buttered Pyrex dish.
    Top with the bread crumbs.
    Push the bread down into mixture until it is coated.
    It will float to form a crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until the pudding thickens.
    Then broil until crust turns very light brown.
