Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie crust
2 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0. Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients in order given. Pour into pie crust. Bake for 15 minutes at 425\u00b0. Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Top with Cool Whip, if desired.
