Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
    1 stick margarine
    3 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Peel apples.
    Slice thin.
    Place in an 8 x 8-inch dish.
    Mix sugar, flour, egg and spices until mixture looks like cornmeal. Put on top of apples.
    Add water.
    Cut up margarine on top.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until top of pie is brown and crusty.
    Serve warm with ice cream.
