Cheese Corn Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. corn
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 beaten egg
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. shredded cheese, divided
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook corn in salted water for 2 to 3 minutes (1/2 cream-style, 1/2 whole corn is a good combination).
    Drain.
