Peach Pickle 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. medium-size firm peaches
    1 tsp. cloves
    3 lb. white sugar
    4 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Let sugar, vinegar and cloves come to a good boil.
    Drop in the peaches and let them get hot through until they can be pierced through with straw.
    Put in jars and cover them with hot vinegar.
