Broccoli Or Cauliflower Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 bunch fresh broccoli or cauliflower*
2/3 c. chopped onions
2 Tbsp. oleo
6 c. water
8 chicken bouillon cubes
1 (8 oz.) pkg. fine noodles (optional)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
6 c. milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook fresh broccoli or cauliflower; set aside.
Saute onions in oleo until tender.
Add water and chicken bouillon cubes; boil until dissolved.
Add noodles (optional).
Cook, uncovered, until noodles are tender.
Add garlic salt, milk and cheese.
Cook over low heat until cheese melts.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add chopped broccoli or cauliflower.
Serve.
Makes 4 quarts.
