Apple Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (No. 2) cans sliced apples or 1 (1 qt.) jar home canned sliced apples
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 box cake mix (yellow or white)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 sticks oleo or butter, melted
Preparation
    In 9 x 13-inch pan, spread apples, then add crushed pineapple.
    Sprinkle cake mix over fruit, then a layer of coconut, then a layer of nuts.
    Pour melted butter over top of mixture. Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    May be served plain or with ice cream or Cool Whip.
